Baby Massage / Infant Massage - Class Dates

Infant Massage provides a possibility for parents to spend quality time with their baby. Contact between the child and the adult intensifies through the massage and knits the parent-child-team together tightly, which can be very beneficial with older children who experienced this as infants as the memory of this closeness can instantly be readdressed. All parts of life will be able to benefit through baby massage.

The ideal age for the start of a course is 8 weeks to 4 months-old.

Wednesdays from von 10-11 am (six-week course)
Course I:      February 29     til    April 4, 2012
Course II:     April 11     til    May 16, 2012
Course III:    May 30     til    July 4, 2012
Parents with a newborn benefit greatly from a class of infant massage this gives insight into the needs of the small child and helps getting to know the infant while providing a special closeness and intensity of contact through the massaging touch. A Class with a motto: Tender loving Care for the soul through the skin.

Course:
6 meetings 60 Minutes each at 90 € per baby with one accompanying adult. Dads are very welcome! (as are caregivers or grandparents)
We practice a basic massage technique based on the traditional Indian Baby Massage for the whole body but will also address individual needs of the specific parent-child-teams. Specialties as a basic "how-to" guide for colds, fever and colics will certainly be instructed. As a naturopath I will also include valuable ideas for a natural remedies and "Granny's Tipps".
We will have enough room and time to practice, but also to get to know each other in order to swap ideas and knowledge.
Costs include water / tea for the adult accompanying the baby and good oils and materials for the practicing classes. 

RSVP is essential and can be done by contacting me no later than 10 days prior to the start of the course!
Number of places is limited to  a max. of 5 babies with one accompanying adult each. More information on baby massage: click here!

Special scheduling of classes are available for groups of 3 - 5 participants either at your home or at my practice on prior arrangement.
Should travelling to a regular appointment as a class like this be impossible for you (at the moment), I will be able to accompany you through the content of the class individually at your home.
This might be a relaxed start in your own home. Especially for the parents of prematurely born children or parents with more than one baby at the time. Use this service to give your babies a head-start through the first couple of months.
Cost: 2 hours at 120,- €. including oils and materials as above plus up to 20 kilometer of driving.
